1.) Do not expect an admin to take any action for any situation without substantial proof!
2.) Do not disrespect/harass/threaten/flame any players.
3.) Do not spam chat, microphone, or radio commands! This includes using a voice changer. If more than one person asks you to stop playing music or anything on HLDJ or anything then stop.
4.) Do not be a smart ass/troll. Zero-tolerance for trolling/smartasses.
5.) English only.
6.) Do not apply other server rules to this server!
7.) Do not argue with an admin.
8.) Do not advertise other gaming websites/servers.
9.) Do not tell an admin how to do their job.
10.) Do not impersonate an admin or any player.
11.) Do not hack/exploit.
12.) Do not spray nude/pornographic/disgusting/nasty sprays or anything similar deemed as inappropriate by an admin.
13.) Do not evade ban, kick, mute, gag, or silence.
14.) Do not mislead players with incorrect rules.
15.) Do not request an admins assistance in unnecessary situations; only rule breaking.
16.) Do not encourage/antagonize rule breaking.
17.) Do not evade the AFK kicker. Bans will be issued.
18.) If a player is talking with a staff member (usually on top of a roof), do not intervene, even if that player is your hit. They are busy, and you're complicating things even more. Bans may be issued.
19.) Gun dealers and attachment dealers CAN work with each other. But Black Market Dealers CANNOT.

Admin Roof Rules

2.) You CANNOT intervene in an admin situation.
3.) You CANNOT be on the admin roof unless you are in an admin sit.
4.) Do NOT put things on the admin roof. (This includes guns, printers, sprays, paint, text screens and props.)
5.) You CANNOT build on an admin roof.

General DarkRP Rules

NOT ALLOWED:

1.) You CANNOT spam paint.
2.) You CANNOT spam job votes.
3.) You CANNOT abuse your job. Do what your job was intended for. Using a job for it's resources and then changing is job abuse.
4.) You CANNOT spam text screens/signs. If they say the same general thing then do not put more than one in the same general area.
5.) You CANNOT put signs on other peoples property unless you are on the door as a owner.
6.) You CANNOT shoot at someone without a valid reason such as hate crimes, racism, etc.
7.) You CANNOT spam your camera flash.
8.) You CANNOT spam your flashlight.
9.) You CANNOT make a money printer bomb.
10.) You CANNOT use RT camera inside anyone's base without the owners permission.
11.) You CANNOT make a sign that is a message to/against another player or group. Use signs for your own job/property.
12.) You CANNOT block other peoples sign with your own sign.

MUST:

1.) You must play by NLR (New Life Rule). After death/rejoining, wait 5 minutes before returning to point of death unless it is your property.
2.) You must roleplay.

Assault, Shooting, and Killing Related Rules

NOT ALLOWED:

1.) You CANNOT RDM. (Random Death Match). You CANNOT kill people for stupid reasons or to stop other rule breakers.
2.) You CANNOT kill trespassers who left your property unless they stole an item from you.
3.) You CANNOT stunstick people randomly if your job is equipped with a stunstick by default.
4.) You CANNOT kill law enforcement who try and arrest you unless you use fists.
5.) You CANNOT excessively punch whore anyone.
6.) You CANNOT shoot, or attempt to kill someone that has advertised a raid before they make the first move. (Pretend that it was no advertised, and you still don't know).
7.) You CANNOT have wars. It is strictly against the rules.

ALLOWED:

1.) You CAN kill someone for trespassing only if you warn them with reasonable time (10 seconds) to leave first or if you have a warning sign.
2.) You CAN shoot to injure someone only if you have a realistic reasonable cause to.
3.) You CAN punch someone to death only if they punched you back or did any damage to you by any means (shooting, melee, stunstick).
4.) You CAN have signs that state: "Entry/Keypad Cracking/Lockpicking/Bug Baiting/Spam Knocking/Spamming Door Open/Close = death".
5.) You CANNOT kill anyone that agrees in chat to you killing them or having a firefight. This is DarkRP, not a Deathmatch server.

Tool Related Rules

1.) You CANNOT USE E2.
2.) You CANNOT use tools to affect the server in anyway.
3.) You CANNOT build wire components which are not related to DarkRP (eg: Player picker up tool)
4.) You CANNOT put a material on a car.
5.) Cameras SHOULD be appropriately placed.


Prop Related Rules

NOT ALLOWED:

1.) You CANNOT spawn/bring props in other peoples homes/property.
2.) You CANNOT spam props.
3.) You CANNOT prop block anything/anywhere. (Excluding windows)
4.) You CANNOT prop kill in anyway.
5.) You CANNOT prop push.
6.) You CANNOT prop climb/surf. (Excluding ramps/stairs)
7.) You CANNOT build in public/spawn.
8.) You CANNOT build in areas that obstruct the public.
9.) You CANNOT mess with players creations/props.
10.) You CANNOT have floating props/bases.
11.) You CANNOT have invisible props.
12.) You CANNOT build inappropriate structures with props.
13. You CANNOT spam textscreens. They must be appropriate, and relative to your roleplay objective.

ALLOWED:

1.) You CAN prop block windows.
2.) You CAN make a ramp/staircase.
3.) You CAN build on isolated roofs not normally accessible.
4.) You CAN build around your door(s) if it's not obstructing public walkways.

Door/Property Related Rules

NOT ALLOWED:

1.) You CANNOT own doors within a property if someone else owns a door in the building.
2.) You CANNOT buy every door in a large building unless you're hotel manager or are using every room behind the doors you own.
3.) You CANNOT have more than two keypads connected to the same one door; one on each side.
4.) You CANNOT use your numpad on your keyboard to open fading doors.
5.) You CANNOT prop block any doors/garage doors even if there's more than one.
6.) You CANNOT have multiple fading doors stacked next to each other unless a player can fit between both while they are closed.
7.) You CANNOT have more than 2 fading doors in a row.
8.) You CANNOT claim public property unless you're a hobo and the property you claim does not obstruct public.
9.) You CANNOT own any map doors as a hobo.
10.) You CANNOT build an unequal base so you can shoot out but nobody can shoot back at you.
11.) You CANNOT build in unowned properties.
12.) You CANNOT build in spots you can not raid.

MUST:

1.) You must have keypads connected to fading doors and within reasonable distance and visible from the door.
2.) You must have all doors/fading doors able to be keypad cracked and/or lockpicked.
3.) You must have all fading doors with autoclose on reasonable autoclose time. (3 seconds at least)

Job Specific Rules & Information

Police/S.W.A.T.

You DO have a gun license by default.
Remember: When a player is jailed, you cannot kill them as it is still classed as RDM and you will be dealt with appropriately.
1.) You CAN have your gun out in public.
2.) You CAN use capital punishment (killing) for all prisoners only by forcing off a building or drugging.
3.) You CAN shoot to kill anyone that pulls a gun and shoots at you or a fellow officer/mayor..
4.) You CANNOT open fire on anyone in PD unless a robbery is active or unless you have a K.O.S sign outside.
5.) You CANNOT keypad crack/battering ram without a valid warrant as law enforcement.
6.) You CANNOT arrest/warrant/want someone unless you have proof of illegal activity or someone admitted to it.
7.) You CANNOT return to the PD if you were killed inside during a robbery.
8.) You CANNOT camp to guard the bank vault in PD. Checking on it every now and then is fine.
9 .) You CANNOT raid as a corrupt cop
10 .) You CANNOT build in the PD

Thieve's

1.) A maximum of two thieves can work together at a time.
2.) Thieve's may raid other Thieve's bases provided they follow the general raiding rules.
3.) You CANNOT mug for more than $500.
5.) You CANNOT pick / keypadcrack a base without first advertising raid.
6.) You CANNOT work with any kind of law enforcement, unless the specified law enforcer has a job title of: "Corrupt Job Title"

Mayor

You DO have a gun license by default.
Remember: When a player is jailed, you cannot kill them as it is still classed as RDM and you will be dealt with appropriately.
1.) You CANNOT have your gun OR stunstick out in public.
2.) You CANNOT make unrealistic laws such as "Rdm tall people on sight".

Gun Dealer/Black Market Dealer/Drug Dealer/Doctor

1.) You MUST have a shop that is advertising the sale of your item(s) and you must use it to sell your merchandise to other players.
2.) You CANNOT self supply or job abuse to grant yourself OR friends items.
3.) You MUST have realistic and reasonable prices for every item being sold.

Guard

Remember: When a player is jailed, you cannot kill them as it is still classed as RDM and you will be dealt with appropriately.
1.) You CANNOT have your gun or stunstick out in public.
2.) You CANNOT abuse your stunstick by stunning players for no reason.
3.) You CANNOT random weapon check people. Only weapon check people in the property you are guarding.

Hitman

1.) You CANNOT ask for hits on a specific individual.
2.) You CANNOT commit/accept free hits.
3.) You CAN be arrested attempting hits because murder is illegal.
4.) You CANNOT abuse your hitprice. The maximum is $10,000, and if you are seen with a higher amount you may be stripped of all of your money.
5.) You CANNOT justify mass RDM as "being in the way" whilst completing your hit.
6.) You MUST have a reason for the hit.

Hobo

1.) You CANNOT build floating bases.
2.) You CANNOT build with steal. You are a Hobo you build with wood.
3.) You CANNOT build in the middle of the street.
4.) You CANNOT make elevators/advanced things.
5.) You CANNOT build huge bases.
6.) You CANNOT spam BugBait.
7.) You CANNOT own a gun.

Medic

1.) You CANNOT Help/Raid.
2.) You may "team" with a class however if it is a job which can raid you CANNOT assist.
3.) Only ONE medic per base.

Staff Applications

1.) You CANNOT reference or ask staff in-game to check / rate your application. This may result in a penalty and possible negation of your application entirely.
2.) You CANNOT post multiple threads. We get around to all of the applications, give us time. You do not need to remind us. Breaking this rule may also lead to an infraction or penalty.
3.) You CANNOT post an application whilst not meeting the appropriate requirements. Read the Stickies, ignorance will not be put up with. Breaking this rule may also lead to an infraction or penalty.
